Weaning Support & Food Combining Guidance

The Sleeping Baby Routine

Helping parents introduce solids with confidence while supporting digestion, healthy eating habits and better sleep.

Starting solids is an exciting milestone, but it can also bring uncertainty and questions. Many parents wonder when to start weaning, which foods to introduce first and whether food choices can affect their baby’s digestion, behaviour and sleep.

With over 30 years of childcare experience, I provide practical, personalised guidance to help families navigate weaning with confidence. This goes beyond simply introducing solids and focuses on creating healthy eating habits, supporting digestion and encouraging positive mealtime experiences that also support sleep.

My Approach

My weaning support and courses can begin from around 4 to 6 months, depending on your baby’s individual development and readiness rather than age alone. Every baby develops at their own pace, so support is always tailored to your child’s unique needs, feeding stage and family circumstances.

I help parents recognise the signs of weaning readiness, understand which foods to introduce and create a balanced routine around milk feeds, meals and sleep.

I support families through common weaning challenges, including food refusal, fussy eating, digestive discomfort, constipation, routine transitions and feeding struggles, helping to create positive and enjoyable mealtimes for the whole family.

My food combining approach focuses on creating balanced meals that support digestion, fuller feeding and healthy sleep patterns. Rather than simply introducing solids, I help parents understand how food choices, meal balance and routine structure can influence digestion, settling, behaviour, energy levels and overall wellbeing.

This approach helps build healthy eating habits from the start while supporting a happier, more settled child.
